The head office of Loss Control Consultants Limited (LCCL) is located in Edmonton, Alberta. LCCL is family owned and management driven. We are a federally incorporated, independent business, owned and operated by the individuals performing the actual fieldwork and preparing the final reports.

The corporate philosophy is to provide the best information package for risk management requirements in the following areas:

1. valuation for insurance purposes

2. loss prevention;

3. risk management programs.

Loss Control Consultants Limited has substantial experience in municipal insurance appraisal work gained over the years since 1982 by completing reports on more than 15,000 buildings in more than 600 municipalities in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Northwest Territories, Nunavut and Ontario. We have also completed insurance appraisals on numerous condominiums, apartments, schools, industrial buildings and shopping centres.

With our experience in the Insurance Industry (since 1957), we approach our insurance appraisal process from an insurance point of view. The result, which is continuously under development, produces a very effective, complete and accurate report. LCCL is distinct from other firms in that we provide a value related to the by-law endorsement and we provide loss prevention and/or risk management advice and solutions.
